Babysitters
An evening out, worry-free.
Tell us the date and times, and we'll match you with a vetted, self-employed sitter. Each sitter sets their own rate, and you see it before you confirm. The minimum booking is 3 hours. You pay securely by card when you book, and your sitter receives their full rate after the sit. If plans change, our cancellation policy is fair to you and your sitter.
Running late? The sit timer has it covered.
Your sitter taps Start when they arrive and End when you’re home, and you can watch the timer in your account. You always pay for the hours you booked. If you’re back late, we’ll let you know, and extra time is added in 15-minute blocks after 5 minutes’ grace, charged to your card and paid to your sitter in full. No cash at the door, and no awkward maths at midnight.
Need a sitter more than once?
Book regular babysitting: choose the days you need each week, such as Tuesday and Thursday after school or every Friday night. Keep it going until you stop it, or set an end date for a few weeks of cover, like the school holidays. We aim for the same sitter every time, and each session is charged 48 hours before it, never months in advance.

12% (live-out) or 15% (live-in) of first-year salary
Temporary nannies

£30 per day booking fee
Tax-Free Childcare
We can help your nanny join Ofsted's voluntary register, so you can pay with Tax-Free Childcare.
Read the FAQsLive-in or live-out?
Permanent nannies work one of two ways. We can find either.
Live-out nanny
Comes to you each day
Lives in their own home and travels to yours, often for a 10 to 11 hour day. This is the most common arrangement in London. Their salary covers their own rent and travel.
- Typical London payabout £21.63/hr gross
- Typical weekaround 50 hours
- Our placement fee12% of first-year salary
Best for regular weekday care
Live-in nanny
Lives with your family
Has their own private bedroom in your home, ideally with their own bathroom, and meals are included. Helpful for early starts, long days, shift work or travel. Their hourly cash pay is lower because their room and food are provided, but they usually work longer weeks, so the yearly salary is close to a live-out nanny's. Agree set hours and time off: evenings are theirs unless you've agreed babysitting.
- Typical London payabout £16.43/hr gross, plus room and meals
- Typical weekaround 60 hours
- Our placement fee15% of first-year salary
Best for long or unpredictable hours
Either way, the nanny is employed by your family, so you'll need payroll, holiday pay and a workplace pension. Our placement fee is 12% for a live-out nanny and 15% for a live-in nanny, based on the agreed gross salary. Live-in roles take longer to fill: fewer nannies want to live in, and we check that the room and the arrangement are right for both sides. Pay guides are London averages from the Nannytax 2026 salary guide.
How you pay
No placement, no fee.
- A £400 deposit starts your search. It comes off your fee, and it’s refunded if you don’t hire a nanny we introduce.
- Pay the rest on your nanny’s first day, or spread it over up to 12 monthly payments with no interest or extra charges.
- Our fee is 12% (live-out) or 15% (live-in) and includes any VAT. It never goes up.
- Nanny share or part time? The fee is worked out on your family’s share of the salary.
What’s included
More than an introduction.
- 12-month replacement guarantee. If your nanny leaves in their first year, we find you a new one at no extra fee.
- Back-up babysitting. No service fee on our babysitters while your nanny is off sick or on holiday in their first year.
- Checks and a trial day. We check DBS and references and set up a paid trial day before you decide.
- Help being an employer. A contract template and an introduction to a nanny payroll provider.
- We stay in touch. We check in with you and your nanny after 1 and 3 months.
